Utrecht, the Netherlands
I work in B2B sales in cybersecurity and compliance, build small projects on the side, and like turning complex ideas into something people can actually understand.
Who I am
I'm Vadim, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
I'm in consultative B2B sales, mostly cybersecurity, compliance and assurance. It's advisory selling more than anything. I work on the commercial side of complex engagements, scoping what's needed, then steering clients and their stakeholders through technical decisions that are easy to overcomplicate and costly to get wrong.
What I'm best at happens early, before anyone jumps to solutions: getting to what a client is actually trying to solve, asking the questions other people skip, and turning a vague, half-formed need into a clear commercial decision they can act on.
Outside of work, I'm interested in communication, psychology, technology, fitness, reading and building things that make complex topics easier to use.
What I'm good at
Experience
I help clients understand what they need across cybersecurity, compliance and assurance.
Most of the work is about translating technical services into clear commercial decisions: what should be tested, what should be audited, what matters most, and what the next step should be.
Career so far
I turned long council and board meetings into clear written records. It taught me to listen carefully, filter noise, and capture what actually matters.
I worked on marketing and sales for a natural supplements brand, including content, campaigns and customer communication.
I helped plan and run live events, working across logistics, suppliers and on-the-day execution.
I started in face-to-face sales and later helped lead and coach new reps. This is where I first learned how much sales depends on energy, timing, confidence and reading people well.

Things I'm building
A DNA insights app I'm building to turn raw genetic data into understandable trait insights and lifestyle recommendations. The idea is simple: take something that is usually full of jargon and make it easier for normal people to understand and use.
A personal site built to give a clearer picture of what I do, what I'm interested in, and what I'm building.
Outside work
I like cooking properly, especially when it's for other people. Pasta, seafood, simple ingredients, good flavours.
Usually something around psychology, communication, business, behaviour or personal development. Sometimes something completely different.
Gym, running and football. I like staying active and I'm usually up for a session, a run or a game.
Education
My background runs from hospitality and events into media, technology and commercial work. That combination makes sense for me: understanding people, communicating clearly, and making ideas practical.
